Been looking for months for a 24 x 36 art print or poster for over the fireplace to replace the now boring Kandinsky. Wanted art deco style, but not one of the same thousand available. So a week ago, came across a Rbt. Hoppe Print that was art deco, correct size and honored my love of old movies. And it was $49 and was framed in a birdseye maple frame. Framed was not on my radar as intended to reuse the chrome frame on the boring Kandinsky.

Well, all of the other Rbt. Hoppe unframed, signed prints were hundreds to thousands of dollars. Was a Buy Now and I did. OMG! It is amazing and I am awe struck. If you love art deco, look for the 100th Anniversary of Hollywood, that's what I bought and love the included frame. Insisted on change to UPS instead of FedEx and it was a great choice. Actually all his prints are art deco and very unique compared to what an art deco poster search will show. I am rarely blown away, but today was one of those very rare days. If I pull up stakes and make a big move this year, without much stuff, it will be going too. I love Ebay and this was one of those amazing purchases that is soooo much more that expected.

You never know WHAT you can get on the Bay, until you comparison shop and (always) check out the reviews. Glad you scored a fantastic find!

I haven't bought from Ebay in years, but last week I saw the most beautiful necklace that I've ever seen in my life. I bought it, it came in today and boy does it knock my socks off.

LG, it is the best feeling when that happens! Wish I could get into selling, lots of nice stuff, but it is so outside my comfort zone. Easier to drop at St. Vinnies and be done with it quickly.

I've found and bought some good stuff myself on eBay. But I never feel like I'm getting a fantastic deal on anything anymore. It seems like those days are over. So I'm glad if I'm wrong about that.
