Re: Ebay- anyone ever purchase from international seller?

I've ordered a few inexpensive items from China and had no problem.  They were stainless steel rings that were being sold on the Q for almost $30 including shipping.  I paid $4 each, free shipping.

I figure I didn't have much to lose, so I thought I would give it a shot.  The rings were the exact same ones being sold here.

I have purchased Birkenstocks from Germany without a problem.

Re: Ebay- anyone ever purchase from international seller?

Yes, but in some cases the shipping was soooo slow that I did not try again until I actually wrote the seller and asked if they had another way to send or track.

My number one rule for buying on eBay.  I write first, make contact and see if the seller is friendly, helpful, responsive.  If that is the case then I bid.  That goes for any sale, anywhere, here or in the world.

My number two rule is to buy from those who sell one kind of item.  Only clothes, only one category of item.  Often they are the most  knowledgeable and aware.
