Re: Eateries ~~ Food For Thought

I actually am only aware of a very few eateries that offer senior discounts and then it's usually only one certain day per week. In our small town that is about 75% seniors they just keep the prices reasonable. It works for everyone.

The first one is RUDE and very disrespectful! Not funny at all. The others are humorous.

I don't think it's funny either.

If this sign is for real, I guess they're hoping that senior citizens...and others...might think it's cute or funny and go in and order.

It's just another way to say, "No senior discounts."

The little mom and pop pharmacy that I go to has a big sign: "No cell phones. Rudeness is not appreciated."

 I could see at one point in time when it was needed. (https://priceonomics.com/why-does-the-senior-citizen-discount-still-exist/) I am sure I am going to be cursed at. That's ok.

OT: Sure they give children discounts at restaurants. One is not saving, because they give way smaller portions. (so it evens out)

@ID2

Not sure which one is your #1 sign, top down or bottom up. For me? The middle one kinda!

Re: Eateries ~~ Food For Thought

Thanks!  Those are fun.

I remember one of my many trips to islands in the Caribbean and this one small island I visited a few times the resort office had a sign that said -

ISLAND TIME

Door open, Office open

Door closed, Office closed
