I happen to check on my easy pays and found out my payments were not made. In checking ,I found out my credit card needed to be updated.  I didn't think to do this when we received our updated cards. So,updated  the card. The system would not let me pay the past due payments.

i tried again the next morning, nothing.  Then I called customer service.

She confirmed my card had been updated and then asked if I wanted to pay the overdue amount. Well- yes. Then she told me it would take 24-48 hours for this transaction.

i never received any notification from QVC that payments were not made. If I hadn't checked on my account I would not have known. Just thought people should know how QVC is doing this.

Re: Easy pay payments overdue

Any time you have a card up for expiration, it's your responsibility to notify all companies that you've set up for automatic withdrawals of any changes.  And it's best to do it as soon as you receive notification of your card renewal/mailing.

A company can't assume the card was renewed and it would be in violation for them to continue deductions.

Make sure you check other places that take automatic deductions for this card you had set up for QVC EZpay.

Re: Easy pay payments overdue

Whenever I receive a new credit card, I always go through any of my accounts that I have automatic payments on and update them.

It's a pain, but it has to be done.

Re: Easy pay payments overdue

The only payments I have set for auto pay are newspapers. That way if a payment isn't sent there aren't any late payment fees.

Paying my bills online manually keeps me informed on the status of my bills.

@sally in philly , I've had this happen before as well.  There are things we just forget about.  It's called life.  If others can say they are on top of everything, good for them.

I was never notified by Q that easypays wouldn't go through either.  I found out when I tried to place an order and I got a message that my order wouldn't go through and I had to contact CS.

Re: Easy pay payments overdue

Well the OP knows it's her responsibility. That's why she took action immediately upon realizing payments weren't made.

What's unfortunate is for a company that continues to tout Easy Pay as a shopping benefit to not give reminder notifications a weeks or a month prior that billing information needs updating...like SO many other companies do.

To me, just another reason not to use Easy Pay. And it's so irritating that it's become the default option for payments.

Re: Easy pay payments overdue

Well I would think QVC would have at least sent an email stating that there was a problem with the credit card.  How hard is that to program?
