What do you care more about when purchasing at QVC? I don't like easy pay, I don't like having to pay for something over months unless it is a big ticket item, I hardly ever take advantage of it. Free shipping at least saves me some money.

Re: Easy Pay or Free Shipping

I'm all for free shipping..... I almost never use payment plan...too confusing,  if you return the item...and too confusing on billing statement....

Free shipping.

That's the only way to get any savings on a purchase, not Easy Pay. My philosophy is if I can't pay for it outright, then don't buy it.

Re: Easy Pay or Free Shipping

Never use Easy Pay because that uses the Q Card and there are zero Bonus Points given for purchases. On my credit card, I receive three times the bonus points for each dollar spent on on-line purchases. QVC purchases are on-line purchases and they rack up a long of bonus points which ultimately = cash that I use a couple of time per year to pay $100 on a monthly bill.

Works toward my large monthly statements since I charge everything and love accummulating those bonus points!

Additionally, if returning an item via QVC's return S&H the customer apparently is not charged for the return costs associated with the return fees on the label. (NOTE: But check your statements! I understand QVC often bills the customer anyway! SMH in disguist at that faux paux.)  I still return items via USPS at my own cost . . . and charge it (to earn bonus points) for quick returns and credits.

Money screams; wealth whispers.

I never use partial payments from anywhere, I pay in full or I dont buy. Free shipping is often a real deal breaker for me.

@Jordan2  - Definitely free shipping.

The nice thing about easy pay is if you need to return something, they only have a small amount of your money tied up. It does also help those who don't want to or can't pay a total amount all at once to get things.

The bad thing about easy pay is that those easy pays can add up in future months. I like to go into my account and pay in full once I know I am keeping an item. Especially in these times, with an unstable economy, it is important to be as debt free as possible.

Re: Easy Pay or Free Shipping

The only way I see to compare easy pay and free shipping is to think of who pays for what.  With free shipping, the customer pays for her own choices while with easy pay someone else pays.  Temporarily the company does pay pay , but really we all do whether with price increases or membership fees or diminished services or even diminished quality of merchandise.

  I find it hard to believe the two are equals when it seems almost every company is seeking ways to cope with the huge cost to them that returns are making.  They wanted us to switch to remote during the various pandemic closures and kept their shipping charges lower to pull us now.  Now they're looking for ways to get those dollars back.

Re: Easy Pay or Free Shipping
