I live in Oxnard, CA - not far from the Channel Islands. I was upstairs in my bedroom and didn't feel a thing. Many people on nextdoor dot com - some living further away - felt it.

In 1994 I was living in my townhouse in Oak Park, CA and felt the Northridge 6.7 earthquake. Lots of shaking and damage to the ceiling in my upstairs hallway. I have a beautiful, flowery Chinese Vase on top of my hutch in the living room. The ceramic lid that was on top of the vase fell out and broke. 

I have many collectibles that my mother bought many years ago - and most are broken. But - who would expect the lid to fall out????
