Re: Early Spring?

[ Edited ]

Early Spring means early allergies for me, so even though I'd love some early Spring temperatures, I will be miserable.

We had a brutal few weeks of cold here in KY. We just received our gas and electric bill. Ouch!

Normally our winter temperatures range from the teens to the 40s, but the single digits we had last month were harsh. Our summer temps can go as high as upper 90s, but we've had an occasional day or two with temps above 100.

Not here. It might be Spring like weather right now but winter is not over. Our weather shows later half of Feb in the 40's with 20's for the lows. This weather runs into Mar.

We have had snow as late as Apr.

I still won't be planting anything until May.

Let's not rush the season.  I love the cooler weather because it energizes me as opposed to hot humid weather which  drains my energy..   Spring and summer will arrive soon enough.

As a desert dweller, who lives well below sea level, our temperatures even in the spring can be extreme so I hope that cute little groundhog is wrong, lol.

@Icegoddess I was actually referring to starting seedlings inside, not planing in the ground yet.
