Do you use them?  Do you wear them "out and about"?  I like my music as much as anyone but I can't understand having it in my ear and possibly to the level of not being able to hear what's going on around you.  And if wearing them out in public, how do you navigate your environment of traffic, horns, people speaking to you, even nature, etc?

I just saw Nikol Johnson on IG advertising a new earbud from Bose...an "Ultra Open Earbud"

I don't use them.  I don't listen to music or audiobooks when I'm in public.

I don't wear them either. I also wonder just how safe they really are.

Btw, my Son bought Apple airpods and ruined them by jumping in a pool. Too expensive to replace right away so he bought Toto brand ( approx $20) and that's all he, DH, and both GSs use. Just saying...

I have them (not the Apple kind, regular ones), but I prefer old school headphones.

I never wear anything in my ears when I'm hiking in the park. I had a man pass me on the trail and then try and run up behind me a few times. I shocked him when I turned around because I heard him coming each time.

@monicakm   Hello...yes I have a pair of Apple AirPods 4.  My sons gave them to be around xmas.  I wear them when I run...but I don't keep the volume up because I don't want to get ran over😣.  I sometimes wear them in the car when my husband and I ride to Baltimore to visit family because I cannot stand the kind of music he listens to - so it avoids an argument (me-  can you please turn that **** off ).  Best thing ever to me.

I use my Apple Air Pods all of the time. I don't think I could live without them. I love them. I usually just wear 1 in my ear. I do not do much walking outside, but I do talk on the phone a lot. Wearing them free's me up to do other things at home while I am on the phone.

My friend has taken a shower (no hair wash), while talking to me on the phone using her Air Pods. We are in a business where we are on the phone a lot and I find these to be life savers.

My grandkids and husband use them.  The grand kids love them.  And yes, one of them has had Dad put in laundry and wash.  lol good thing? She does  her own laundry now, lol. She's 19.  She should!
my  husband is another story, he must have trouble syncing them. Because I will hear shows or music real loud,  I have to yell and yell to turn it down.  He thinks they are synced when they aren't lol. Because he is hearing the program. So is the whole house

@patbz

Toto (as in the company that makes smart toilets/washlets) makes earbuds?

Just looked.  It must be another Toto company.
