Snapple does not put an expiration date on their bottles, but I found a chart that tells you the shelf life of a bottle depending upon the letter. (Sorry, could not get the chart to copy so I could paste it.) I have some bottles that begin with "L" so they have a 6 month shelf life. However, how would I know how long it sat in the warehouse before I bought it? Why do companies do this?

The do it because it's not important to the consumer. That stuff would probably keep for years, although the quality may not be at it's peak if it's artificially sweetness, sweetner deteriorates. Never heard of anyone dying of Snapple.

I've noticed that when coke products go on sale, buy two get one free etc, they have a rather short expiration date. I buy 12 pack cartons of Diet Coke cans. The expiration is on the end flap in a gray rectangle. I bought some a few weeks ago that expire this September.

Is it manufactured in Canada? I have found that with some Canadian products.
