When they were ValueVision they were, by FAR, the best. There wasn't a lot of variety of categories of products but their fine jewelry was second to none in quality. Now they are hawking costume jewelry along with the rest of them and it seems, with every name change, things are going downhill faster and faster.

Now, Paula Deen? I think they've pretty much reached rock bottom.

I guess the lesson here is that cheap junk sells better than good quality products and classy guests/hosts. That's where QVC has gone and that's where hsn always was. Oh well.

I don't know about Paula Deen's kitchen items but her furniture line appears to be top quality, it isn't cheap and looks very sturdy. She had once marketed some spice containers that were adorable and looked to be high quality but I didn't have room for them.

I hope she is able to put out good products for a fair price.

There is a market for interesting and useful products that won't crack, warp, chip, or fall apart within days or weeks of use. Anyone who can fill that void will do well.

"Evine" is Kathy Levine's last name with the "L" left off.

I wonder if that's where the new name came from. If so, why?

That New York coverage from The Plaza was ridiculous. I was embarrassed for Kathy Levine who went waaaay overboard presenting. Just sayin' ...

Anyone who watches (even occasionally) any of the shopping channels would see that what the "new" Evine is offering is either the same products they have been offering for years, or the same products that every other shopping channel sells, no better, just packaged differently and branded new and spectacular by Evine. From all of their promo I really did expect at least 40% new and different, but no. So their promos have just been a lot of hot air. I'm kind of bummed, because it would have been nice to have a shopping channel actually come up with a few things truly new and different. Oh well. Waterford, Invicta, Cozelle, One World, Kate & Mallory, chocolates, popcorn and Paula's dog food here we come.

I was flipping channels and stopped when I saw Lisa Vanderpump is on. She has Jiggy with her. He is so stinkin' cute. On his little royal pillow all dressed up in a purple tux.

I didn't know they were changing the name again. I do buy Isomers from them and have purchased a few Invicta.

I enjoy watching Shop Hq or the new EVINE Live, their products are different from the Q and I like their hosts better. I think it's a mistake for them to get mixed up with Paula Deen though, that whole nonsense with her still stinks. Kathy Levine had her time in the sun, I think she's made the rounds of all the shopping channels. Hopefully LR will not follow in her foot steps.

Yes, it stopped being ShopNBC and became ShopHQ. Now it's Evine. I went to the website to check the "about us" section, and there isn't much there. Like many, I'm curious about the new name.
