I received an email in the last few days offering special payment terms for the holidays. Some items were offered at 9 months to pay off card. I don't have Q Card, but happy I don't have another incentive to over spend at the holidays.

I gave up my Q card.  I am trying to limit  my cards and I do not use EZ pay.  They did change banks but I still gave it up.  The first bank --- I had a nightmare experience.  I returned something, paid my bill and then since they did not get the message somehow they reported me for being late in payment.  I didn't owe anything and the Q tried to explain it to them.  They refused to correct the problem.  I waited and before I could cancel the card the Q linked up with a different bank  I remained knowing they changed.  But after thinking it through I figured I do not need the card.  No advantage for me and just one more card to keep track of and hope they don't mess up.

I received the same. Who cares about e-z pay or special payment terms. I would rather receive free shipping or a % off my purchases. Sure I have used these offers in the past but they don't make me want to buy more stuff. The only deal Q has ever offered us IMO was buy $100 worth of gift cards get $25 card free.

You are right with people using it more with that feature & get stuck paying ridiculous amounts of interest. I'm not paying that high interest. Never have paid a high interest rate never will.

@NightowlzYou're right that if you're someone who really won't stick to the payment terms, you really should never take on one of those no-interest offers.  They've been around for years and I do use them -  they're one of the few loans I accept that run more than a month like my ordinary credits cards do, but I've never missed making the final payment long before that final due date when the fine print penalties kick in.

I won't be using any anywhere this holiday season because I'm not buying anything that will qualify for that kind of payment terms.    Holiday shopping here will be minimal; 2016 can't end soon enough for me -  this was a disastrous year several times over.

@millieshops I already have our sleep number bed on that. When I received this months statement no payment for it was listed. Has to do with the billing date. That means there will be 2 on the next statement. I paid the payment anyways or I would be making over $1000 payment next month.

Sorry you have had a disastrous year this year. Hope things will be brighter for you in 2017. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

There's NO interest if you pay your balance in full every month.
