And a seven hour meeting at that!  Plus follow-up phone calls & videos.  Maybe I'm not exactly correct in my understanding of the term, but IMO, Sean Penn is akin to an enemy of the state.

Regardless of the motivation for the alleged secret meeting between Penn & El Chapo, it just strikes me that there is something VERY wrong with this.  

EC was a WANTED fugitive, with whereabouts unknown for a period of time.  Then SP takes part in a clandestine meeting with the thug??  

If SP didn't alert the authorities, then he's aiding and abettng.  If he did, or if EC was found because of his communications with SP, then SP is going to have to watch his back for sure.

Makes me sick that these attention-seeking jerks feel they can do anything necessary to promote their agenda(s).

In other words, Penn went undercover, to get the info on Chappo, all under the guise of an interview.

@Plaid Pants2  I don't think this is the case - at least not according to what I've read so far.  Sean Penn is apparently under investigation for his involvement.

It's so nice to know that El Chapo is a family man who hasn't done drugs in 20 years and wants to die of natural causes.

Bet he's glad (lots of) other people sell and/or buy (his) drugs.
