I've had almost every Kindle since they first came out, and I've settled on the Voyage..  I love the lighting, the fonts, and having buttons again.   I had missed them.   Remember - if you go to a Nook, you lose your library.

 

Update - I see that you bought a Paperwhite.  By the way, all those using tablets or computer monitors to read via the Kindle app, a backlit screen is not good for your eyes due to glare.  That was one of the big advantages of the Kindles.

@patbz, thanks. I did know that, too. 😀. Theirs is easy to find and understandable.  I mentioned iPads because there was a lot of talk about them in this thread and I knew they have a night shift selection. I still think it’s easier on my eyes to read on a Kindle device than a tablet of any brand.
