@Suziepeach I hate that, when vendors sell your email to other vendors and then WATCH OUT, and it seems to take forever to stop them!

@CareBears, I so agree!  It was like automatic, bam my email was out there.  Oh it stopped that very day, once I unsubscribed from Vermont it all stopped.  I won't do that again!!

@Suziepeach I just purchased a rug from Overstock and even though I unsubbed immediately from their emails and I never signed up for an account (I sign in as a guest) I still receive their emails, I know it takes X amount of days to be removed but I thought I would be safe when I signed in as a guest, NOPE!

@CareBears, that's a darn shame it takes X amount of days to be removed.  I know that's happened to me too.  Funny how fast you're added and that email address spreads but takes so long to delete.  I don't sign for any emails now.

I prefer if they offer options - email daily - weekly or monthly. I don't see daily as every necessary.

@Yahooey I do appreciate sites that have this option but I have run into a couple that seem to "cross pollinate" their lists so you keep getting them anyway so then it becomes a blanket no thank you . . . Smiley Happy

I'm being spammed big time by IT cosmetics, which is weird because I don't wear any cosmetics.   I have unsubscribed to so many for so oftern that I wonder why I bother.   When Catalog Choice started, it was great being able to stop the influx of unwanted catalogs but, then, many just ignored the requests to stop.  Email is like that.  We know you don't want it and we just don't care.  Yeah, that'll bring in the business!

After I put the dog out in the morning I go through my emails and delete many without opening them.  I usually have about 30+ new in the morning and I usually have 4 or 5 left that I want to read.  I have unsubscribed to some but others I love their flash sales and want to know about them. Just takes a minute to control them.

I use UnrollMe. Check it out. It is free. You let The app know what emails you want them to capture. Then, once a day, they roll them up in in single email. So, you are not getting constant emails. And if is something your are interested in, you just pull it out of the roll up.

Same here.  There are a couple that I do appreciate the sales, but how often do I need to buy?  So yes, I endure their incessant e-mails.  The others, history.  Oh, and those sites that you have to subscribe to with your e-mail to even see what they are selling?  Nope, I just leave and never go back.

Another gripe, just purchase a large ticket item like a TV or Computer or Kitchen appliance and you register it on-line.  Boom.  In comes an e-mail trying to sell me an upgraded appliance or computer?  Really?  Geesh.
