E-Bay Sellers, which did you do?

I sold my very first item.  I need to ship it out and I was given a choice--ship on my own or get a shipping label from e-bay and it can be put in the mail tomorrow without having to go to the post office, etc.

 

Which way did you usually send your sold items and why?

Congratulations!  Use whatever method is easiest for you.  I never have a printer handy, so I never do the printed labels.

It depends how  much the item is worth.  I usually print the postage and take it up to post office counter to get a receipt of acceptance.  I sell more expensive items on ebay and like to get proof I dropped off the package.  

 

If is is under $50, I would probably have the post office pick up the item.
