I will celebrate #55 on Christmas Eve so they are all probably way to young for me.  Sean Connery would be more my speed now.

His father was the original "Rock" regarding professional wrestling.  He was the one that trained Dwayne.

Both parents are still together.

Grown men tend to put their mama's on a pedastal. 

As an example, you always hear "I'm gonna buy my mama a house!"  You rarely hear if ever, "I'm gonna buy my father a house!" or "I'm gonna buy my parents a house!" Papa, doesn't get a house.  He gets a TRUCK!

@Mz iMac  Thanks for that info. I know he worships his mom and the few times I've caught him on air doing an interview or something is a magazine, it's always his mom I see pictures of or hear about.

I thought perhaps his dad had died when he was a kid; I'm not into the wrestling so no idea of any of the history.

I saw him in a movie recently. I think more than just his physical attributes he has real charisma. Seems like a really nice guy in his interviews on talk shows. Good choice...
