Kevin O'Leary is QVC's "wine expert" (except that he isn't, actually) and has been for a while now.
When it was announced and discussed on the forums fairly recently, it was stated that when Martha Stewart arrives, she will be selling a curated wine selection.
I can't imagine either O'Leary or Martha would be happy that there was another vendor selling essentially the same product. I would think that at some point one of them would go buh-byee.
I can't see QVC's customers buying enough "fine wine" (ha) to support two packages, or four, or whatever. Even if there were differences between the wines, IMO that's not enough. My vote goes to Martha because I think she'd be trusted more as a household name who has always had quality products.
Me? I'm just curious what will happen. I get most of my wine straight from the wineries - I'm surrounded by wineries and tasting rooms.

when it comes to wine, i say, the more the merrier!
i have purchased oleary wines a few times and they are a good deal on qvc. the pricing is excellent and the wines are good. i would definitely purchase them again. i am particularly fond of their chardonnay.
will be looking forward to see what martha has to recommend.

You can tune into Evine and buy Paula Deen's sons' wine, too.

Me too, @sunshine45 ;-) I'm just interested in how it will play out and how Martha will differ in her offerings. I'm betting she'll have a trick up her sleeve in order for her product to stand out. And I'd rather listen to her than O'Leary or Mama's Boys.

I can also go buy wine at the grocery store ;-(
AFAIC, any "curated wine collection" which doesn't have the winery's original label on the bottle but rather the name of the curator, tells me it's not top quality.
I do understand that small wineries can't mass produce and so sell their wine to wholesalers, and that it can well be decent/good wine, but most "unlabeled" wine just isn't that great for the prices asked. That's as much my issue as the quality is. I'm happy buying a $10 or $15 bottle of wine that's worth that. What bugs me is $10-15 wine sold for $20-30. I know those who just assume if they're being charged $30 it must be a great bottle of wine. The more you charge, the happier they'll be. It may taste good and people may be happy with it, but they paid double for it. And yes, I understand that like all of the food offerings on QVC, buying it here can simply be for convenience sake - it just irritates me.
