I read something on Twitter today that said Buckingham Palace would send up pink smoke or blue smoke, girl or boy.  I finally realized that was a joke.

Yay! She was due last weekend, I read. Imagine- shes having the baby in the hospital, an announcement has been made of her labor and they will make a birth announcement SOON. All the negative speculation can finally stop. Sending good wishes to the Dule and Duchess!

who knows what the Queen knows, eh? maybe wishful thinking - subliminal, of course.  maybe she just wanted to wear her pink gem pin.   anyway, i  see that this announcement came from Kensington Palace -  not Buckingham.  that i find interesting,if true!

edited: i see another source says it came from Buckingham.  the Sussexes are no longer Kensington but some reporters got it wrong in their excitement, i guess!
