As far as Wisconsin....it must be all those parties cheering on the Green Bay Packers.......Woman WinkWoman LOL

That was my first thought was the Cheese Head factor and all the celebrating when I saw the list.  It is Cheese Head isn't it I forget I just know they drive me nuts when I am trying to cheer on my Dallas Cowboys.

Well I live smack dab in the highest area.  If you look on a map, Highway 41 connects Green Bay, to Appleton, to Oshkosh, to Fond du Lac.  There are accidents involving alcohol, but I truly had no idea we ranked that high on the list.  I will say that even though Packer fans drink, they aren't half as mean as fans of other teams.

Mostly the list looks like locations with long cold winters; people stay indoors or just get together in a tavern and the boredom and cabin fever sets in. Lotsa drinking, maybe.

That's the first thing that came to mind for me - cold weather, bad winters, not a lot going on culturally except sports - nothing to do but sit around and drink and "enjoy the company" of a partner.  Few to no warm areas on the list.

I'm drinking a little vino as we speak and no, my city is not on the list.  Riunite on ice, so nice...

Since my husband and I don't drink, that explains our healthy "company" life. Smiley Wink

Wisconsin is killing it.

I can't believe that Buffalo wasn't on that list.

@AuntG

I know quite a few Packer fans and indeed they are nice people...........I was just thinking about all that celebrating of Packer victories.........

I would've thought the Washington DC area would have made the list, since that's where many of my fellow frustrated Redskin Fans live...........Im a Redskin fan living in TX, and everyone in Texas knows Austin's infamous Sixth Street and also Austin is a college town......
