What no Austin, TX????????????????????????

As far as Wisconsin....it must be all those parties cheering on the Green Bay Packers.......Woman WinkWoman LOL

That was my first thought was the Cheese Head factor and all the celebrating when I saw the list.  It is Cheese Head isn't it I forget I just know they drive me nuts when I am trying to cheer on my Dallas Cowboys.

@beckyb1012

Well Im also surprised Dallas didnt make the list with the Cowboy fans having to put up with Jerry Jones........Woman WinkWoman LOL

@Spurt I still walk around in shock that he came into our lives all those decades ago.  I remember when he hired "Barry" for head coach and I told my family He has hired Dawber, from the sitcom Coach.  Nice sweet guy but for a professional head coach, no way.  We did have some good years in the 90's but without Jimmy, Troy, Emmitt, and Michael there as been not much since.

@beckyb1012

I have to laugh when I watch the news and hear "coach Jerry"  give an assessment of the plays for the season....hope he at least told Jason Garrett of the plans!!! Smiley Wink  If you want to read an interesting book, read Jerry Jones King Of The Cowboys.   LOL-Barry Switzer, he was a goof ball, he just in inherited good players form Jimmy Johnson

But my Redskins aren't much better and haven't been relevant since 91 Super Bowl .....  we also have an owner, Snyder, that could drive fans/players/coaches to drink (and thus should've made the list)...........Woman LOL

Take Care!

@Spurt You take care too but before you go my mailman of 10+ years here at my office is a die hard Redskins fan and travels up that way at least one game every year.  He is tormented so much, (in good ways) given and received.  Finds Redskin stuff around his truck from alot of us during game weeks and has been known to wear a Cowboy hat when the Redskins lost.  I asked him once "how could he not only live 80 miles from Dallas put also live in Earl Campbell, Houston Astros hometown and be a Redskin fan?"  He loves them.  Are you ready for FOOTBALL?  Yes and YES!!

@beckyb1012

Tell that mailman to hang in there and HTTR (HAIL TO THE REDSKINS) Woman Very Happy

There are a few Redskin fans around these parts a lot of good natured teasing....and during the Cowboy's lean years I noticed more and more jerseys and other stuff from other NFL teams......My hometeam is the NBA Spurs and I love them, but when I chose my NFL team I picked one based on the coach and personality of the players---and during the Joe Gibbs era I related to the Redskins team over the Cowboys, but interesting enough Gibbs had more Texans on the team than the Cowboys did and one of the Redskin players, Darryl Grant, is a hometown guy from here,  and there was a big game back in 83....where Grant intercepted a Gary Hogeboom tipped pass and ran it in for a touchdown my favorite game  Woman Very Happy

Come visit on the Sports Forum during the season (kinda quiet now, look for NFL topics run by gardeman, and Eagles fan. ....There's fans from various teams including some Cowboy fans....we all get along with each other.............

The upcoming season should be interesting for the NFC East and perhaps we will make that list by the time the season is over Woman Wink Woman LOL

How gracious of you.

Your area is known for having a high suicide rate.

So what does that say about the state of Washington?

Re: Drunkest Cities in America?

I live in Wisconsin in fact in one of the cities on the list.  I enjoy a brewski or two or three every now and then.  I do find the results of this poll rather interesting.  While I know we like our beer  here I have to believe there are other states that are just as bad.

Where did you read this @Ms tyrion2?  From what I've read Washington doesn't make a list.

Re: Drunkest Cities in America?

I've met a couple of alcoholics in my life time and guess where they were from?  Wisconsin! I am floored.  I distinctly remember steering clear of them and persuading a good friend to do the same. One did become a roommate of hers which she later regretted.
