How do you ever sleep with Tramadol? I take it day time. When I took it at night, i would wake up after a couple hours, and stay awake/ As long as you have a script it is okay

I don't think it will affect your getting the job. Most companies do 4 or 5 panel drug tests that vary. I have taken several and talked to some people that were on drugs like that and got the jobs anyway.

I'd ask HR. I would think they, or who ever else will review your screen, is the entity to inform. Ask how you should disclose your Rx in light of a required screen.

The drug screen is looking for illegal/recreational drugs that you might be using. If you disclose what you are on before the test, there will be no problem. As others have advised, I would bring the prescription bottle along.

Also get a note from your doctor stating that you are on this med for this purpose.
P.S. Make sure you don't eat a poppy seed bagel for breakfast the morning of the test!

You said you have only had two prescriptions in two years. You should be fine IF your Rx bottle or the Rx has not expired. Check to see if the current script is expired with no refills. If it is you should have your doctor write a new current script.
If you are very concerned is it possible for you to push back the drug screen for one week? It takes about a week for opiods to leave the system. Can you just stay off the med for a week?.
