I'm sure I saw one last night. It was just a white light flying. It wasn't a plane. I took a picture and it was the same as some pictures that were posted. I'm in New York but right on the border with NJ. I'll be looking again tonight.

I’ve been seeing them in Bergen County for a while. They are big but quiet. No one can say who operates them but have determined they are “manned” according to latest reports. Now Connecticut & California have drones flying above. If it is a secret project, just tell us.

They are hovering over our reservoir, sensitive military installations, power grids & sorry, that’s a concern for me. We are flying Monday & I hope there is no interference with signals, space etc.

I do hope they are aliens as I’d love to meet one. But, any smart alien wouldn’t come to our troubled world.

It seems to me to be some sort of aerial mapping and/or surveillance. 

Whether it's for a good purpose or something nefarious,  the general public doesn't know.

We live in Central NJ, the Bayshore area and last night when my husband put the trash out he called me out to look up at the sky.

There were two really bright stars, a few dimmer ones, a plane that flew over and then a really loud, what I'm thinking was a, military helicopter heading northeast.  It was around 5:45 so it was dark and very very hard to see exactly what it was, there weren't any lights on it which was strange.

I'm in lower central Bucks Co, PA.  NJ is to the north, east and south of us. They say that people are seeing dones in my area too.  I just don't tend to go out at night.

Late at night it is really very quiet around here.  You don't hear a thing....however for a long time now I can hear a small plane going over our house anywhere from midnight to 3 am.  It just seemes weird to me.  Other times I have heard a loud military type of helicopter which can sometimes rattle our windows.

It's creepy that they say they don't know (I believe that they do know) what is going on but that the public is not in danger.

ETA: McGuire air force base is about 30 miles away in NJ...makes me wonder

I don't believe for one minute that they don't know.  This is very scary and should be taked seriously.

@Jersey Born I was in the car yesterday and had 101.5 on.  Some of the caller theories made me want to come home, make a tin foil hat and cover all the windows with aluminum foil.

Which is exactly why I'm listening to the officials on this one. Not tuning into any hysteria until its warrented.

Wasnt that prior Balloon from China? And after we removed it, China's was in a tailspin?

Im wondering, given this last contentious event, if these are gifts of some other country, trying to intimidate us between the interim of 2 US Honchos.

Heck, Invites of an upcoming Event are being sent out to some of the World's non-friendly Ldrs, 1 of which has already denied.

Heck NKor & SKor were sending balloons of literal poop sent back & forth to one another.   So seems like some common freaky tactic of overseas.

I wouldnt be surprised of ppl out of country are trying to intimidate us.  they could only be Drones from the old Radio Shack & still have the same intimidating effect, understandably, to US populace.

Some of the NATO countries are nervous about changes.  This could be some kind of childish freaking out, childish tantrum of theirs.

But WE SHOULD BE TOLD by our OWN PPL.
