I wouldn't want to be driving anywhere in the area either.  It makes me crazy that she puts

the lives of lots of people in danger, not just herself and not just her friends.  Innocent people are killed all the time when an irresponsible person does what they want with no regard for the law or the safety of others.

She really does seem to have an adolescent's view off the world - constant selfies, shallow and superficial interests, and so self-involved that she thinks the danger of doing this kind of thing while driving doesn't apply to her.

There's not one reason in the world for the driver of a car to be doing this.  LR is certainly old enough to know better.

I agree. And it's frustrating to me because, by all accounts, she is a well-educated, well-read, well-traveled, highly intelligent woman.

Sometimes (JMHO) I think this is all an act that she puts on in order to connect with and relate to the superficiality of her audience: Just girlfriends, having fun together and spending, spending ,spending.

I have no doubt it’s an act, a “just us girls, BFFs” act. She posts all kinds of FB “cutesy” things in the “I’m just like you peons” vein. And...in every photo she’s wearing only the jewelry she sells, only the clothes she sells, only the handbags she sells - as if she wears her own stuff around town & Europe. Riiight....

Yes, I agree that it's calculated.  It's also misguided.  This may fly with her tribe (at least until they become disillusioned), but it's all pretty transparent, IMO.  There are more productive and better ways to build a business, and it would do her well to try some of those.

Your  amazing for all the hours that you work in the day that you can be on the forum so often. You  give us advice and warn us to let us know how calculating Lisa is.  Everyone is not like you.

Not sure if your comment is aimed at me, but I am most definitely not on the forums "so often".  And how do you know how many hours I work?  Your comment makes no sense no matter who you were intending to insult.

Even if I posted round-the-clock day after day every single day (which I have never had time for, at any point in my entire life), I'm simply expressing my opinion.  These are forums, and that's why they're here.

And no one is “warning” anyone - those who have drunk the punch would never accept it if anyone did. It’s just called having an opinion and expressing it.

Some express themselves more clearly than others.

What’s “amazing” is people still dragging up the old “you must not have anything better to do than park on the forums all day” thing, thereby insulting any poster who is retired, disabled, housebound, has a chronic illness, etc vs any other poster who works 40 hrs/week.

Thank you!  The whole thing makes no sense.  You're right - I wasn't warning anyone.  I expressed my opinion, the same as everyone else who has posted on all the pages of this discussion so far.  Yet I get singled out.  If, in fact, that comment was directed at me, but even if not, that was a very strange post.  I didn't see any posts from anyone  that warranted that kind of reply.

And yes, commenting about how much time someone spends here is ridiculous.  There are many people who - for whatever reason - have the time and inclination to read and post here all day long.  The irony is that I tend to post in spurts.  There are many days I don't come to these forums at all, to read or to post.  Yet I get called out for claiming to work a lot of hours yet having the time to post here "so often".   I've never once posted anything about my work hours, nor would I.  Maybe I'm not working at all, or maybe I work part-time or at night, or maybe I do freelance work.  Maybe my job allows me to multi-task.  Maybe I'm on FMLA or Disability.  Whatever it is, it doesn't matter and is no one's business.

In any case, that kind of comment is annoying in the same way as "You're just jealous" is annoying.  As I said, these are forums, and we're all free to post, exchange ideas, and express opinions as often or as rarely as we want, without being judged, especially by someone who has no idea what she's talking about.

Re: Driving & doing FB live!! Say what?!

ITA, @NYC Susan, with your entire post. I assume it was targeting both of us..what I could grasp of it.

I’m on these forums more than I ever anticipated I would be, simply because (1) I’m retired, and (2) for the past 18 months I have been largely house-confined due to various completely unexpected and unplanned physical issues that will mostly be ongoing, and little I can do about it; it is what it is. I go out, and I do, but not every day, all day.

I imagine that anyone who is “always on here” who never crosses opinions with anyone about anything, who is sugar and spice and posts ❤️s and glittery GIFs all day will never be asked “why are you always here, loser?” - because that’s just a way of saying “I don’t like you, so there.” Which honestly would have been clearer, if soon poofed ;-)

Yes, I guess it may have been both of us.  And maybe @Sheilaray too.

You're right - The crime is not being here too often when apparently we're supposed to be working.  It's saying something that a poster doesn't want to hear.

Re: Driving & doing FB live!! Say what?!

Shocker - I have actually purchased an item from Lisa’s website. I won’t say what it is for traceable reasons, lol but it isn’t anything to adorn the body with.

It’s for a Xmas gift that I think will be perfect for the recipient. I’m sure I could have found something similar or the same if I’d tried to scour the internet, but grabbing it was just simpler. It’s well-made and arrived undamaged/without flaws.

But it cost about $20-$25 more than it needed to, comparing it with similar products I have seen; nice profit margin. I was okay with doing it for a one-time gift just so it was a one-and-done thing, but with that kind of pricing, I sure as heck wouldn’t be interested in doing it all the time to feed the coffers with so much extra money.

Well, that was an all kinds of crazy funny  post from @hopi. LOL.  That poster must have the same *work* schedule we do since she commonly posts on these threads when we do.

Today, Lisa gave an interesting talk regarding her firing and life after QVC.  It’s worth a listen (but only when done *working* ) LOLZ

@Moonchilde....I have a few of Lisa's home decor items and really love them.  I am sure the recipient will love receiving it.  I don't buy any jewelry as I have far too much.

I do have to agree that some items are overpriced.  But, I think we are all smart shoppers and we look for bargains any place we shop.  We also tend to spend more than we should if we feel like we just have to have something, lol.

Hey, welcome to the tribe!
