I never had any fast food from anywhere until I was a teenager and could drive.  My father would never stop and buy fast food.

He always said we have food at home.

We didn't eat at restaurants either, unless we were on vacation, then we went out twice in a two week period...once for lobster and again for homemade Italian food.  The same two restaurants for years.
