Drew and Linda married May 12 in Italy (La Piazza del Borgo.).  Looks as if it was a lovely ceremony.  I understand TLC channel aired it over the weekend.  Maybe they'll repeat the show?

Gorgeous dress (she had another for the reception) and Drew and all his groomsmen wore kilts during the ceremony to honor the Scott brothers' Scottish heritage.

Beautiful memories with this beautiful wedding.  I love everything about it.  May God keep this union together forever.  Marriage is heavenly when both keep and remember their vows.

I like a kilt on a Scotsman!    Outside of Scotland, I've noticed that Canadian men of Scottish descent seem to be the most devoted to the kilt, and like to wear for ceremonial occasions.

That allegiance to Scotland still runs just under the surface of much of Canadian life, interestingly.   Bank of Nova Scotia Forever!

I've nary a Scot (that I know of-- only Scots-Irish from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) in my Canadian family tree, but I admire what they've contributed to Canadian life and culture...

DH is @ as pure Scottish as can be.  He has the “full dress rig” as they call it, and tartan trews as well.  6’5”, blond, blue eyes, first time I saw him in his plaid I was a goner.

Always makes me think of the Mike Cross song about the Scotsman.  Great memories of his outdoor concerts.

Was sorry to read that Johnathan and his fiancée called off their wedding.

I just noticed in my local listings that TLC is going to repeat the program so you can catch it again tomorrow evening, Tuesday, at 6 p.m. Pacific or Friday morning, 8 a.m. Pacific.  If you're in a different time zone, you'll want to verify your own local times.
