@lmt :  I live in a rural town with only walmart and Penneys as shopping choices.  That said, DH and I were just laughing about our first trip to a Stein Mart (imagine a store just devoted to only steins.....).

It never fails.  I just went into my local Dress Barn last weekend and they were having a BOGO half off sale so I purchased 4 new blouses for myself.  The store has always been well stocked, organized and the staff have been quite friendly and helpful.  It's a shame how many good stores are closing.  There are too many vacant stores around that remain that way for years.  It's the way of the world now unfortunately.
