He is so annoying and now that he's pulled his poor wife into everything, she gets on my nerves too. Lol. I don't know if they just stay around too long or what. Dr. Oz is another one, ugh.
I often wonder if back in the day if our parents and grandparents felt the same way about Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, etc?

I understand that Dr Phil is very proud of his Family but for awhile - he was promoting his latest book and had to add each time
@sweetness47 wrote:He is all about self promotion not actually helping people anymore. So tired of him pushing the Dr. On Demand app that he created and then fails to tell everyone there is a fee for it. His catch phrases are so old . I used to like his show but not anymore. Pushing his weight loss book is kind of ironic.
that his Son has the publishing company.
... and then Robin had her skin care company ... they both have had work done.
I agree - he needs to move on.

I don't know how he gets away with charging for his services when he has no license to practice psych in any state.
Why would anyone want to pay for advise when you can come to QVC's forum and get advice for free? AND some of the advice on QVC's forum is excellent.... It comes from personal experience and love in the hearts of everyone here.

I kind of appreciate how he cuts to the chase and gives advice. I still watch the show most days.

I don't think you understand everything. Dr. Phil represents many people in court situations, as he did Oprah in the "beef" scandal. That's how they first got together, and as you know, he won the case against her. This is one if the many ways he gets paid.

So his guests get a real handkerchief as a souvenir? Why is that bad?
Should Phil go - Yep - right after people stop living stupid lives.
And Judge Judy, too - same criterion -- she should go as soon as people don't need to take ridiculous cases to court.
The two shows air back to back here. Every show is the same - but they must have huge audiences. Can't say I understand why.

Hello, jobran.
I think Dr. Phil is being a gentlemen when he hands out the hankerchiefs. It's probably just his way of doing things. Kind of like how some people tuck a napkin in their shirt, while others just place the napkin in their lap. I'm guessing it's just Dr. Phil's way.
