Just curious, but have to ask. QVC now has Q2 in their lineup, but both channels are pushing LOGO. I don't care for LOGO, so even with a choice of two channels, there is nothing to watch.
Can't someone creative find a way to show different things on each channel? You might sell more.

Are you looking purely to be entertained or are you needing to do shopping for something particular?

Yes, why have 2 channels, if there is no choice ? Everyone is not a Logo fan.

That only matters to women who look at QVC for entertainment, the Looky Lou's. Women who are serious about shopping don't wait for tv presentations, they just go to Qvc.com and shop.

@chrystaltree, Window shopping often leads to purchasing, plus you might see something that you weren't aware of.

I don't know if this is the intention, but where I live, you have to have cable to get QVC and HSN.
I have cable for the living room TV, but not the smaller TV in the bedroom. I was surprised recently to discover I could get the second QVC channel on the bedroom TV.

Have you ever browsed in a local store, or perhaps a mail order catalog, or even browsed online and maybe something caught your eye causing you to make a purchase. Same thing with QVC's TV Channel, QVC needs to show something inviting in order to catch someone's eye that's flipping through the TV channels to perhaps cause them to buy something. And QVC would have a better chance of making a sale if they used a bit of variety and something different on each channel in order to draw a potential customer in...........If you have the same thing on BOTH channels and its a brand that doesnt engage the customer that means NO SALE!!!

Sorry, not exactly true. Irarely watch QVC, and the only time I watch for entertainment is with either Louis or Bob Mackie. I don't find the channel entertaining. But I have some serious eye issues and sometimes the computer is difficult for me. The glare bohers me a lot becuse of how my computer is situated. Besides, I prefer to watch live shows. So I don't do this for entertainment. But if I did, I would still think that if you're going to pay to operate two channels you should offer a variety of programming.
I also have a small question. Why have they chosen o pit Leah with her A.M. Style type show against David's ITKWKD. Seems to me they are diluting both.

You can't compare a shopping channel to a b&m store, that's ridiculous. They are too very different things with very different customer bases and very different methodologies. Qvc didn't just appear on the scene last week. Everything they do is to maximize sales. So, if they show specific items or brands on both channels....it's because that maximizes sales. Logically, the do that with their most popular and lucrative brands because that's what the Qvc customer buys...and wants. Qvc is only interested in those of us who are frequent shoppers, they don't give a second thought to what people watch to be entertained want. There's nothing in that for them.
