I'd hang with Prince Charles any day too.

I think he's a cool guy.  Very into conservation and the environment.  Loves art and architecture.  These are things that interest me too.

Re: Doria, Prince Charles and Camilla

I so agree that Meghan's mother (who looked absolutley lovely) was treated with great dignity and respect befitting the mother of the bride.  It was a beautiful ceremony.  My favorite part was the choir singing Stand By Me and the way the bride and groom looked at each other.  I love love ! Heart

I must say Camilla wears the most ridiculous, over-the-top hats, but today's took the cake.  It looks like it's wearing her.

@Kachina624  The hat was a tad big, lol, and I guess someone told her everyone looks good in pink, but the color didn't do anything for her.

Funny how people see things differently...

Doria Ragland- seemed quite comfortable with Charles and Camilla.

Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall are warm lovely, caring people.

@Sweet_Serenity  I never got the impression that Charles cared much about Diana's feelings much.....

@Pearlee

Charles and Diana, Each had agendas, This is common knowledge.

Charles was the one, who immediately, went to Paris..

Inspite of the divorce, We now understand he cared, and loved her.

William and Harry, Love Charles...in the end that's all that matters.

@Sweet_Serenity   I don't reach generalizations from one action at one point in time, esp. after seeing many actions implying something different over a period of years.
.

"We" don't all think the same as you do. Charles could very well have gone out of a sense of duty. I don't know these people and I suspect strongly that you don't either.

Re: Doria, Prince Charles and Camilla

The royal family all have impeccable manners and would never do anything to make someone feel ill at ease. I felt badly for Megan's mother that she had to be alone with no one to hold hands wlth or be with during such an emotional event, but  she handled it with grace and dignity.I would expect nothing less from Prince Charles than to do his best to make her feel at ease. Bravo to all of them.

Say this one more time-

The only thing that matters- William and Harry, Care for Charles.

God knows what happened in that marriage. Not my place to judge.

Re: Doria, Prince Charles and Camilla

I would expect Charles to be courteous and act like an adult in this situation  with Doria. As the future king he certainly couldn't ignore her or seem uncaring. It is sad that she had no one with her to share in the special day.
