@SunSprite  I live in Georgia.  I just literally put in Doobie Brothers events in Google and they came up!  Would post it here but I am not sure it would come up without outisde links that are against guidelines.  They'll be here in June.  I will be out of school so I could do a Sunday night.  Again, hmmm???  Cat Very Happy

I loved Doobie Brothers when I was a child growing up in the 70's and then as a teenager in the 80's.  Kept liking Michael McDonald when he went solo, as well.

@Pandalady  June 19th in Charlotte looks like our ticket.

My daughter is close to Charlotte and I'll just head up that way and stay with her. Of course I will spring for the tickets, but that's ok. I need to expand her cultural awareness lolol.

There is something about their music that resonates with me on so many levels. I grew up in SC, and my parents all hail from from rural midlands and upstate. We drive over "Black River" when visiting our farm land, many times a year.

"Black Water" may be about New Orleans, but it strikes a chord with many of us that grew up in a simple, rural time.

Can't wait for the concert! Thanks for sharing Smiley Happy

I am seeing them in Indy in July. I cannot wait. Have wanted to see them for years. So glad Michael McDonald is touring with them.

They'll be here in July. They are touring the whole country for their 50th anniversary so you should be able to find them someplace.
