I don't think this happens to me. I think people lie because they're liars, it has nothing to do with what they think about me.

^^^^^this. A liar is a liar (lies by word or actions) and I don't like any of them.

Apparently, many of us know serial liars! I don't take it personally, most of the time. They're the ones with the problems, and I can see it clearly.

I do think that often it's just their 'nature'. It's simply natural for them. Part of their DNA/genes, maybe. Sometimes I think that they aren't even aware that what they are saying isn't true. I've seen this in a few teens who don't want to do something that is required of them, so they always have an 'excuse'. An 'escape' of sorts. But, eventually, it catches up with them. Maybe not now, but years later.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
