We had a rousing discussion around the campfire last night about people's thoughtless behaviors. Sometimes little things, some people seem to think they are the only people there. Some examples - 3 or 4 people go out for a walk. They don't use the available sidewalk -they walk right down the middle of the street - totally blocking all the lanes for anyone to drive. And when a car comes they don't even move over - you have to just follow them at their walking pace down the street. This happens all the time in Florida. At a public pool people always seem to feel they are the only ones there. They allow their children to get out and jump in over people's heads , to swim without paying any attention to where they are going or if anyone is in that spot - they just plow right into you.The other day at the Y a kid jumped in over me and kicked me right in the ear. it really hurt. Another child was screaming at the top of his lungs without stopping. We left.Of course we all know i get crazy when people walk their dogs over to my property to go to the bathroom. I owned dogs for 27 years and NEVER walked one to someone else's yard to potty. If you don't want them to go in your own yard why on earth would you think the neighbors want it in their yard? Of course those who step in front of people when ever there is a line for anything. Those type of people are just bullies. And then you can write a novel about rude drivers. i guess people never think how it feels to be on the recieving end of some of these behaviors.
