Re: Don't forget to turn back your clocks!

It takes me several days of subtracting an hour to decide I hate that worse than I hate crawling up to grab my clocks to change them. The mike will get changed when I use it and the stove will go on happily blinking (I don't cook and we lose power a lot.) I love DST!

Last night I happened to turn on QVC just as Rachelle McCray was telling everyone to set their clocks "ahead". Sheesh! I hope someone corrected her later.

Re: Don't forget to turn back your clocks!

I live in Arizona and we don't change our clocks.  I recently read an article that said  the plan is to do away with it.  Many states want to have it abolished but it can't arbitrarily be done, their are channels they have to go through.  The consensus that there is no need for it any longer makes sense.

Re: Don't forget to turn back your clocks!

I have two clock-radios that I bought from QVC  15 plus years ago.  They both turn forward and backward automatically, but they are set for the dates of those long ago years. Always about a week or so earlier than current dates, they change!! It is such a surprise every time!!  I wake up and yikes...am so late or early.  Then I look at my phone and oh, yeah clocks changed!!
