Just a footnote to deliveries..........There is a SCAM they want a bit of money or your credit or debit card, because some of the postage is due.  DO NOT UNDER ANY CONDITION GIVE A DELIVERY PERSON ANY CARD OR MONEY.---------------tedEbear

I saw one across the street and thought the neighbors were moving! Turns out it was package delivery!

There us a sign at the post office in my town that says "If it hasn't been mailed by Dec 10 you had better believe in santa Claus." However, i was there today buying stamps and she was still getting tons of packages. She told every one of them they were unlikely to make it to their destination before the 25th.

That's interesting. I mailed cards, a few larger envelopes, and a couple of small boxes yesterday, and all were expected to arrive before Christmas. (Although, if they don't, it doesn't really matter that much to me!)

They have already said don't expect deliveries to be made in a timely manner no matter what your promised. Thanks for the heads up about the delivery vehicles.

@brandiwine  Of course there will be the usual complaints on gifts not arriving on time, when perhaps shoppers should point the fingers at their own procrastination and last minute gift purchasing.....I wouldn't trust any retailer GUARANTEEING Christmas delivery----With the increase in online shopping people need to learn that they need to purchase their gifts EARLY in the season!!!
