Dolly, Sir Paul and Ringo release Let It Be!!

I just heard this single that was recently released as part of Dolly Parton's Rock Star album

They sound wonderful together.

How great is that?!

 

 

The country music star’s piano-led version of the 1970 single features the two surviving Beatles as well as Peter Frampton and Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood.

 
 

“Well, does it get any better than singing Let It Be with Paul McCartney who wrote the song? Not only that, he played piano,” Parton said in a tweet.

 

 

"McCartney tweeted back:"

 

“Thanks Dolly for doing my song. I love your version and am very pleased to be by your side on this one. Rock on!”

"

 

"If you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew. Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"

I'm sure it's wonderful! BTW, I went to several of Frampton's shows way back in the day...great performer and SO handsome.Smiley Very Happy
