Re: Dolly Parton Dallas Halftime

[ Edited ]

@Monday 3   Who cares if a female is called a lady or not?

I am sure the good Lord  will judge us in how we treat other people, not how we dress.  She was not half dressed.

That is my favorite Dolly Parton quote about taking a lot of money to look this cheap. She does have a good sense of humor.

@lgfan And my other favorite quote of hers is...I'm not offended by all of the dumb blonde jokes because I know I'm not dumb...and I also know that I'm not blonde

@Monday 3  Well, all the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders were all there on tv as are all cheerleaders whose teams are on tv. I guess you live on a cave with no tv.

Whether one liked her outfit or not, she was hardly half dressed.  Have you not seen performers lately?  She was more covered up than most celebrities these days.  With women wearing see through outfits, plunging, open neck lines, slits all the way up their thighs, etc, Dolly paled in comparison.

Dolly was not singing live. Very obvious.

And I don't want to look like her or Cher..at any age. They both look like mannequins.

We watched her and she was awesome! I love Dolly, like most people, and am amazed at her many talents! If you missed her performance, you missed a great one!

Dolly is wonderful for all of her charitable contributions.

My only takeaway negatives were her choice of outfit and singing Queen songs.

No, no, no!

@Mersha

I do not mean this snarky at all....but why no Queen songs? I know next to nothing about the group as it wasn't the kind of music I listened to back in the early 80's...or even now.
