Do you visit that store much?  Are there specials that you find there or favorite items?

Dollar Tree® is the ONLY "dime-store" type of business anywhere close to where I live.    I go about once a month...

I go about once a month for the the birthday and holiday cards  that fall during that month.

I usually pick up a Hot Wheels or Matchbox car or two for my grandson, he loves his little cars and look to see what kind of kids books and coloring books they have that he may like for when he's here.

Re: Dollar Tree

[ Edited ]

I love Dollar Tree! My favorite things are the cards. They have the best variety of cards for every person and occasion. Some for now $1.25 or 2 for $1.

Also socks-the all cotton. They are called "diabetic" which I'm not but they are cotton and breathable.

Sometimes they have nice drinking glasses of all sizes and shapes.

Kids toys-wonderful!

tissue, bags, birthday party accessories, banners, paper plates, cups, napkins.

Interesting makeup things like wonderful soft & silky eye shadow applicators.

Always some great seasonal decorations and pretty little boxes for gifts.

Dish sponges and laundry detergent, shampoos that are cruelty free!

Pretty tissue boxes.

Hair accessories.

I would have said candles, now right in the beginning of the store-larger ones but now after learning about parrafins, I won't get them.

Sometimes in the higher priced home isle you can find a pretty pillow, or just the right size door mat or rug, or container or woven basket. These are usually $3-$5.

The basic food items sometimes cost more than a Walmart and I wouldn't get anything but basic food things like mustard, condiments.

It is a challenge to go in and just get what you came in for!

It's a great place for teachers, parents to find great things for the classrooms too-pens, pencils, markers pads, even packing materials, balloons.

Yeah, I'm a fan.Woman Very Happy

Add dupes for many skin care and makeup items especially lip gloss. I also look at reading glasses, containers and cleaning products and holiday decor for parties.

There is one near me but it's usually a disaster, with unstocked shelves mostly.

I do buy the greeting cards.  Some spray cleaning products are good, some are like water.  I like the boxed sheets of aluminum foil.

What @on the bay

said!  Also some make-up items for me.  The Dollar Tree near me is always neat and well stocked.  Depends on the manager and how tight they keep things at each store.

As far as the candles, I don't care about the paraffin in them because every time I step outside, that air I breathe is no doubt 10 times worse.  However, because soy candles release a deeper longer lasting scent, the Goose Creek brand available at Walmarts are a great find.  I use the wax melts 95% of the time and they are highly scented.  $3 and change for a six pack. Candles are reasonable too!
