Watching a few videos on YouTube by some other people who do jigsaw puzzles.
Anyone else working on a jigsaw puzzle?

I love to work a jigsaw puzzle. I usually have one going on my dining room table and I work it when I have time. I find it to be very calming, and relaxing when I feel stressed.
I bought two 1000 piece from Cobble Hill right before Christmas. But have not yet opened them.

I started doing them again the past few months. I counted 15 in my pile to do. I just finished one and recently started another. I do have a,problem though. I can't stop buying them. Especially if there are kitties in it.
This is the one I'm doing now.

The larger puzzles are nice, but Dollar Tree has smaller ones that are really great for only $1.25! The 350 piece ones are good if I want to just do a puzzle in one sitting. A bit easy, but sometimes I like that. Then they also have 500 piece that are a bit more challenging.
They are smaller in size too which is nice for someone with limited space. I can keep one out on one half of our kitchen table and Mr4kitties and I still have the other half open for meals.
The puzzle size is 20in by 12in for both.

I have several puzzles not opened that I usually pick up after the holidays for half off. Found some neat ones this year. Cobble Hill ones.
My problem is my cat. She makes a mess out of my puzzle so have not done any these last couple years. I have a nice puzzle board with drawers and all that. My husband got me that for Christmas a couple years back.
So the other day I ordered a mat to fit on top of the puzzle board with a cover so I can zip it up. I am waiting for that to come from Amazon and hoping that solves my problem because two things I do enjoy doing in the winter is puzzles and reading.

I love jigsaw puzzles and work on them every day.....on my computer. I really don't have a good place to work reguolar puzzles. When I had cats, one of my cats would sit on the dining room chair and would reach up and sneak a puzzle piece off the table and try to hide it! I thoroughly enjoy the relaxation of working a puzzle. (I get mine from a site called JigsawsGalore dot com.)

I'm not very good at jigsaw puzzles nor do I have the patience for them, that being said though my adult kids love them. They say it's their "therapy". Every year one of their Christmas gifts is a new puzzle 1500-2000 pieces, from Sprinkbok Puzzles made in the USA. I learned about that very company on this forum. They frame many of them, I even have a few of them hung in my garage. One is a map of the National Parks, one is an owl and the newest is a huge one of hot air balloons.
I really appreciate the finished product and am actually amazed at the talent and patience of all of you!
