This puzzle is beautiful. How many pieces is it?
I started doing puzzles over the summer when the temps over 110° here.
I used to do round puzzles when I was younger.
I'm glad I decided to start doing them again.

I remember as a kid we had to be careful of grandma's card table with a puzzle ❤️
For some reason I tend more to crosswords.

funny you should ask. Having never been interested, I suddenly got the urge. I bought a nice puzzle board and some sorting boxes. Now I'm trying to figure out how how experienced puzzlers begin. Seems like finding all the edge pieces would be smart, yes? Then maybe sort by color?? Did I mention how helpful my cat and kitten are? Oh yes indeed. Walking up and down the tilted board, stealing pieces right in front of me etc. 😁And using the felted board as a scratcher now that is very naughty.
I will happily take any puzzle tips you have for me as I don't know what I'm doing lol

Good brain therapy, my daughter and gr son do them together. My office has one out all the time on a large table and when workers are on a break they like for them to go over and work on the puzzle.

Working on a 1000 piece puzzle that we bought in Asheville. Depicts the Chihuly piece of art. Down to all of the black pieces. Ugh!

@smoochy everyone has their own style. Me personally I always find the frame pieces first. Then pick something out in the puzzle to start with and continue until done

When I had cats, one of my cats would sit on the dining room chair and would reach up and sneak a puzzle piece off the table and try to hide it! I thoroughly enjoy the relaxation of working a puzzle. (I get mine from a site called JigsawsGalore dot com.)
@Krimpette. I tried doing puzzles online but there was so much advertising one had to wade through, I soon got disgusted and gave up. They were fun briefly when you finally got to them.
Do you know a good site?

@deeva It is a 1000 piece puzzle that I got at Hobby Lobby but I think Amazon sells it too.

@Kachina624 The site I have used for years and years is: jigsawsgalore dot com. They have some free puzzle sets, but you can also buy sets of 50 puzzles in a whole host of topics. They have sales of the sets a few time of year. Those sets typically will offer 3 of their latest sets. There is absolutely no advertising.
It's an excellent site. You can change the number of pieces, sizes of the pieces, shapes of the pieces, background colors, etc.
I highly recommend this site. Over the years, I've probably ordered 75 sets or more. (Can you tell that I'm addicted?)
And if you need tech support, the developer is very helpful and responds promptly. His name is name i David Gray.
If you liked doing puzzles on your computer, I highly recommend at least exploring this site. I think you'll be impressed with their offerings.
(And no, I have no connection to the site or developer! I can't even recall how I happened upon it, but I sure am glad I did! I doubt that a day goes by that i don't spend at least a few minutes (often hours!) every day!!)
Enjoy, if you decide to take a look!
