When the transporter got my Misty out of the car to give her to me, Misty wrapped her front paws around the lady's legs and wouldn't let go.  We had to pry her off.  Misty had been in several foster homes and had had enough.

That was 3 years ago.  Now she's glad we insisted she come with me.  So am I as she's a wonderful companion.

whwne i went to get molly, she was so excited to see me.  idon't know if she was aware that i was her new onwer or not but we bonded right on the spot.

same with freckles and kirby.

I got my Kody from a family he had been with since birth (and he was then 5). He came to visit before the final exchange and he kept running to the door every time he heard a car, waiting fo his family to pick him up. When he came to live with me, the next week, he bounded up the stairs, ran into my house and never looked back! I have had several dogs and love them all, but he is one who will have my whole heart forever.

I couldn't see the article/pics because it insisted I provide my email address to "sign up" and nothing I did would close that screen out so that I could view without providing my email address.

Oh well.....sounded cute anyway.

@Kachina624, Your post about Misty really touched me.  This poor little dog must have been terrified.  Little did she know she was hitting the jackpot and was about to get all the love and care she never knew.  And what a beautiful dog.  Happy New Year to you, Misty, and your other doggies.

@PamfromCT.  Thank you.  Misty is about as perfect as a dog can be; she has it all.  She came from animal control in El Paso, Tx.  I wish she'd tell me her back story.  She wouldn't willingly get in the car for a long time as I'm sure she feared being shipped to another home.  She has relaxed and is okay now.
