You have said that so many times about several issues for you.
How would YOU feel if you were a disabled vet and someone wouldn't let you in because you needed a service dog for medical reasons?
I have asthma, what I would do is carry my emergency inhaler with me, which is what should be done all the time anyway.
A disabled vet has a dog that is an actual SERVICE dog - certified. HuGE difference and you know it.

Or are they banned there too?
We've almost always had a dog. (and they've slept on our bed) I've held 3 of them in my arms when the vet had to put them to sleep. I mourned their passing despite the fact I knew we did not want them to suffer any longer.
So no, dogs are not banned in our home.

@151949 Neither is starting yet another thread about dogs in public places.
I am probably in the most dog-friendly state and I've yet to see one dog in a grocery store - except for 1 valid service dog at a cafe.

Dogs have no business being grocery carts. Period. Unless they are bona fide service animals, they have no business in stores. Next thing you know you'll find a boa constrictor in the cart at the deli.

Yes, there is. You have been talking about DOGS, not limited to a certain type.
I would think if someone had an asthma attack with a regular dog, that person would also have an asthma attack with a service dog.
But I doubt that would happen in a grocery store and not a closed or close area.

Saw one today at the market.......riding in the kiddie seat. Cute!

I worry more that the help has washed their hands after their breaks than any dog being in a store.
