Doggy depression

Can anyone help me with my little 7 lb dog. She gets these growly, stomach spasms very frequently. My vet had her on Centrine, but that has been discontinued. I've tried other meds, but have had a reaction. Now he has her on Amitriptiline an anti-depressant. Anybody have any similar situation with their little four-legged love. This is really causing me a lot of anxiety also.
