Dog Owners: Best way to deal with the gland issue?

Hi Everyone,

I know this is not a fun issue to discuss, but I would like some feedback.

Our dog has had his AGs expressed at the vet's office 1-2x. However, I can't bring him to the vet every time I sense (or smell{#emotions_dlg.w00t}) that something needs to be taken care of. I've read that regular bowel movements are truly the answer to this problem. And our dog gets lots of walks. And gets a chance to do his business quite a lot. That said, about a few times/month I sense that something needs to be done. I smell the odor and I wonder what other dog owners out there would suggest.

Btw, the Q would not allow me to use the "A" word.

Thanks in advance!{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
