Hi. I have a PayPal account that I have never used or might have used at least fifteen years ago. I received two invoices that are probably not from PayPal because there's a capitalization error, PayPal in not an LLC and I am not addressed by my full name within the body of the invoices and no seller is named. I have forwarded copies to PayPal's spoofing email. I read that anyone can have PayPal send invoice bills and that I might need to go to my PayPal and deny payment to the invoices if they are there. I have no idea where my login is for them, so it will be a hassle to check. I don't even know how to use the website. I am thinking that if the invoices were sent from PayPal, then they would
not have so many errors. Should I go through all the hassle of trying to see if any invoices are there in my account? Is this what a real invoice looks like from PayPal? If you have one, could you please compare with this and take a look and let me know. Thanks.

Probably fake. If you're that concerned, call the 800 number on the credit card linked to the Pay Pal account. Don't do a thing with that invoice. Looks like phishing.

@Mindy D .. I would definitely check your PayPal Account. Perhaps you should also contact PayPal regarding the email. In the meantime, don't click on anything in the email.

I have been with paypal since 2005 and have never seen PayPal LLC. I called them once due to a supspicous email and they had not sent it to me. The name in the email had one upper case P and one lower case p. It was not them.

It's fake. I've received the same one several times over the past few weeks!

@Boehm Collector @I did forward the emails to PayPal's stop spoofing email.

@shoptilyadropagain @Did you have to go to PayPal to check for invoices or did you just ignore them? Did they all say they were from PayPal LLC?
