So much better than endless hours selling mattresses, LazyBoy chairs and computers. Wasn't wild about the epensive Gem Day jewelry either. At least there's some variety.

Living in the South, it is just hard to think of Christmas in 95-100 degree weather, plus I don't need any more Christmas decor, Valerie's stuff doesn't even appeal to me anymore!

I felt *exactly* the same about Gem Day!

There are - gasp! - entire days I don't turn on QVC. Sometimes several days in a row!

I turn on another shopping channel to watch/for background noise, or I watch something else.

It's only just began. Boring, boring boring. 3 days in July and soon it will be everyday. It really takes the joy out of Christmas and its not just QVC, but they are really pushing it. Im glad I finally broke the habit and stopped shopping there. I found I could get the same things at BBB, target or Macy's. No s&h no waiting and generous return policies. Why do I need QVC????

I should have switched channels. lol. I love the Christmas shows and only watch Q when theyre on. I intended not to buy, but they got me..lol. (and I wasnt even home a lot this wk end).

I ordered that 60 some piece set of bags, tags, etc because I hate wrapping. Then I got the Kringle Express lighted PEACE outdoor sign for our yard. (which I couldnt resist b/c Im all about peace and love! ..lol. I think that it was a bit too much money after they add the shipping and tax, but will see when it comes how it is).

Lastly- Its funny when I went to see the JOY movie I learned that if they keep repeating on these shopping networks people buy and I fell for it. lol. Oh well It could have been worse. I have like 10 Christmas items in my wish list but didnt get them all. (I have enough indoor decor).
