What a horrible neighbor. Glad you didn't fall for his scams, and your responses were spot on.

I wonder if others were duped by him and that's why he snuck out in the middle of the night.

Some people put no value on other people's time. I finally spoke up and told someone I didn't want to hear her gossip about local government officials. She hung up the phone and never called again. I didn't think my annoyance would make her that angry, but I'm happy to have regained more hours to do productive things.

@DottieBlue He was an "odd fit" for this neighborhood. These are older homes in the city, not the kind of area that would attract younger buyers.....no shopping or entertainment nearby.

It's not one of those "55+" senior subdivisions.....but it might as well be. Some are "winter homes" for folks who want to get away from the snow and ice(!) di

I have to be careful when I talk to my friends because what I have to say and what they have to say is extremely important and we have to talk over each other. lol

I feel bad because what I have to say is of course more important than what they say. haha

We want to get our point across but it's always at the same time.

You see hosts doing it all the time on air talking over each other.

I had a friend for 20 years. Nearly daily phone conversations. I couldn't talk. It was all about her all the time and 90% of the conversations each day were about how horrible her husband treated her and how her children didn't respect her. I wasn't "allowed" to talk about my relationship with my husband (even if she asked). She didn't want to hear it because I had nothing to complain about. After 20 years we finally drifted apart. Then we started texting. What finally ended it for good was when she found out who my knee surgeon was. Turns out it was her son's ex-wife's new husband. When she found out who he was, she never spoke to me again. I need to send him flowers.

I think your cousin is my husband's sister. Oh, she has 2 sons, not 3. They sound EXACTLY alike. But it's her only downfall. She's a sweet, caring person. Her husband never talks. He doesn't even try My husband finally said to her once, "you realize I have no idea who these people are"...she just keeps talking about them. She'll call to check on us and I won't hear my husband say another word.
