I watched it a couple times and I didn't like it.
I saw the anniversary episode and they kept kissing and it was kind of gross. I just didn't like it. The food she cooked didn't seem all that special either.

I watched it once. She was preparing food for a square dance in her barn, and she was double dipping into all the dishes, "tasting" them to make sure everything was okay. Nope! I never watched again (and I don't know why this cheesy show is still on FN).

Her recipes may be rich, but not Southern.
I haven't been able to warm up to her, either.
I do like her home.
I think FN is trying to make her the "new" Paula Deen. That was the impression I got the first time I watched it.

ewwww I've seen her do that, too. Just grosses me out.
She was a long-time caterer. I'll bet she did that then, too.

The woman from MN is much better but shoot if I can remember the name of the show!

Just remembered! Heartland Table

I prefer Heartland Table, too, but I warmed up to Farmhouse Rules last time I saw it. She had her sassy elderly aunt, who likes to gamble, over for a poker night and made snacks all around.
The aunt was a hoot, and the host was more relaxed than she was the only other time I watched the show.
The Pioneer Woman show is very easy to watch and she is very sweet, but her food often seems just awful to me.

I love watching Pioneer Woman. I don't think I ever made anything of hers though.
Sometimes I just need an idea and adapt it...

Ree Drumond the host of Pioneer Woman seems like the type of person you would like to have as a friend.

I've done that with a few of her recipes, too.
