Re: Does anyone know how to color a siggie?

[ Edited ]

            Great job, @PurpleBunny!    For anyone interested in being creative with their siggy, this is a copy of the instructions I've been posting since we moved to the new platform:

Precede the signature with

           <font color="nameofcolor">

but don't use "nameofcolor" literally...   fill in the color's actual name between those quotation marks.   You can end with </font> but actually the system will fill that in for you.

          For italics, start with <em> and end with </em>.   If you want the signature in bold, precede it with <b> and add </b> at the end.

          As an example,  here's what mine looks like, with the HTML code (I chose to make the siggy a dark black):

<font color="black"><em>"The things most worth reading are the ones that challenge our convictions."(anon)</em></font>

          @PurpleBunny,  As you probably know when it comes to code all it takes is one incorrect letter, or space, etc., to cause it to fail.   I can remember getting a phone call from the hospital in the middle of the night, throwing on my clothes, and driving there to add one character  I omitted from the code (that was before we were permitted to have remote access to the medical center computer database).   The devil's in the details!😜

@dooBdoo  I wish I knew what I changed!  It was working fine on a HTML tester pad, so I figured it HAD to be right. Obviously not, I guess. Just glad it FINALLY worked. *whew!*

@dooBdoo

Thank you my friend, I DID IT!

Wish I could get the paws a different color, but maybe later.
