Re: Does anyone have and us the Kroger app?

I have the Fry's app which is Kroger here.

I don't use it to order groceries but it's very helpful when I'm in the store and don't know where something is. I put the item in the search and it tells me which isle it's in.

Also if there is a coupon on an item I want, I can download it while I'm in the store. Usually I download coupons before I go to the store but sometimes I miss some.

I use it all the time. Sometimes I clicklist my order. When I go into the store, I use the scan and go option.

Re: Does anyone have and us the Kroger app?

I have the app and have used Kroger three for curbside pickup. The first couple times I wasn't impressed and said I would never do it again. Changed my mind. Last week, it was great. I got most of what I ordered, the young lady who brought it and loaded in my car was very sweet. I gave her a tip, not sure if I was suppose to or not, but I will continue to do so.

I appreciate a sweet attitude and a friendly face. Of course dh said that we shouldn't be using cash, but the cash in my purse has been there for at least 2 weeks, some of it 3 weeks, so I think it will be ok. I did use hand sanitzer after I gave it to her.

I use the Kroger ( Fry's) app and it works great. Much better than some of the others like Safeway.

Re: Does anyone have and us the Kroger app?

I dearly love my little, local Kroger grocery store.  The employees are wonderful and I shopped there every few days before the virus.  I load coupons on my card from the website but I do not have the app.

I have been trying to do the online curbside pickup from them since our stay at home order but could never get a delivery date that was not at least a week out.  So I just do the Walmart curbside pickup because they are just better at this service, here in my area.

Re: Does anyone have and us the Kroger app?

I use the Kroger website to order, and then I pick up.  Usually have to do it about a week out, but I've been very pleased with it.  Our Kroger store has always been a good place to shop, and they have been really good through this pandemic.  The staff works so hard...once I had only one thing on a pickup order, and an employee called me thst morning to say they didn't have it so I wouldn't make a trip for nothing...I know how busy they are, and I really appreciated that.

@Pearlee   I’m curios about the digital coupons. Are they worth the download?

Re: Does anyone have and us the Kroger app?

@wvumountiefan. I love the digital coupons and have saved a ton getting great deals from them.If you dont want the app, you can still just print them off Kroger's website and in fact it's easier while in the store for me to look at a physical list than scrolling through them on the app. But the app is good as someone said above so you can add a coupon there on the spot in the store if you see something you missed from their site.

I will add that there are far fewer digital coupons offered since the pandemic since the store doesn't know what products it will be able to get in stock. And they haven't had the Free Friday Item which I've missed - I love getting free stuff!
So there haven't been nearly as many digital coupons lately which is understandable (their ads have been sparse too).

Re: Does anyone have and us the Kroger app?

@wvumountiefan  I have always been an avid couponer since the 80s. I like that i can hand over a little piece of paper and get $ off my groceries.I'm sure the people behind me don't like them. With the advent of digital coupons,I love it.Now I don't have to mess with the paper ones as much. You load the coupons onto your  account and it all comes off at the end. I like the gift card promotions, the free friday and weekend deals. I'm always amazed at how many people aren't aware of it.

When they have the gift card promotion, you get 4 times the point for gas purchases. $25=1000 pts=10 cents off gas. My hubby drives gas hogs so it is truly appreciated. I usually buy Amazon or Starbucks. Sometimes they have promotions with certain restaurants or retailers. I think you would like the ease of using them. As I said,I use the app in store if I find something on sale that I didn't load the coupon or promotion.

I haven't used the online pickup.I live in a huge city and there are many stores.I haven't been going to my usual store since it's a flagship and very busy. I have been going to a smaller store in a much less busy area.I miss my usual store as it is very clean and organzied. Most of the employees know me so it's feel good going there. My favorite cashier and I always hug after I check out. I guess we won't be doing that in the near futureWoman LOL
