I don't like animal print anything...........I don't like the idea that comes to mind when I see it, even the fake stuff............some animal died so you could have that......................................raven

That is how I view animal prints also.

OP...different strokes and all that but it would be considerate when stating an opinion that you avoid slamming others.

...hate animal prints?

They look like something some cheesy housewife back in the 1950's would wear. I don't like the very idea of wearing REAL animal prints, and fake are just as bad.

I like some animal prints in small doses, and it works for me while it isn't everybody's cuppa tea.Smile

You know, though, you can say you don't care for something without having to put down all the people who might like it. It happens on threads all the time in Fashion and Beauty. Not necessary imo.

I always wonder what makes these posters believe that their personal taste is the best taste or that their opinion is better than another's.

The OP never said she has the best personal taste or that her opinion is the better one. {#emotions_dlg.confused1} She simply stated her opinion. In fact, she asked others what their opinion is.

Personally, I can only take animal prints in very, very small doses. I do not think they look good covering one's entire body.

(See? I just stated my opinion. I never said my taste is better than anyone else's.)

You also didn't cast aspersions on those who like them, wear them as the OP did. Cheesy Housewife.

Actually she did. To reiterate, her post stated:

"Does anyone else hate animal prints?

They look like something some cheesy housewife back in the 1950's would wear. I don't like the very idea of wearing REAL animal prints, and fake are just as bad."

Sounds pretty judgmental to me.

I like animal prints, just not when they are overdone.

I love animal prints. I have two chairs in my master with animal prints...get quite a few complements on them.

Uhhh, who is in your bedroom giving you compliments? Huh? Huh?{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

On topic, I love animal prints used judiciously.

I have a couple of blazers and a wide headband I wear over my head and ears when it is cold. A lady stopped me the other day and wanted to know where I bought it.

I have 2 throws in my living room, one on the back of the couch and another thrown over a chair with a matching pillow.

Insulting all those who like animal prints says more about how "cheesy" the OP is. There are many other ways to express dislike of things, without insulting others.

Nothing ""cheesy"" about animal print.

It's like everything else ... in moderation. I enjoy it. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} My daughter has 3" or 4" heels that are beautiful, but my feet can't handle that. I'd like to see Moons and Croemers. Closer to my style. More cheesy housewife meets Peg Bundy. {#emotions_dlg.lol}
